Agriculture (Main Occupation):

The main work/profession of Olla people before the advent of education is Agriculture and farming.They farm locally in Olla and its environ and interstate in Osun,Ekiti,Ondo,Oyo and other states on both subsistence and mechanized bases. It has been the main source of income for Olla people. We are predominantly farmers growing both cash and food crops such as cocoa,cotton,palm produce,kolanut,cashew,yam,cassava,maize,rice,beans,sugar cane,corns etc,the proceed of which our fathers used to finance our educational produce and to develop the community at large.
Olla land is also blessed with mineral resources such as limestone just discovered, quary, granite rocks, marble, clay etc. We have a readily natural source of water in Orisa River, Olosooro stream,Oje streams, Omi Baba, Agudu, Ore stream etc. Other sources of drinking water in Olla include the erected motorized bole holes at different locations.
